Yucatán Tamales at the Farmers’ Markets
Our authentic Yucatán Tamales are steamed in banana leaves, and are based on original recipes passed down from generations of Chef Granados’ family in Oxkutzcab, the bread basket of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. These tamales are produced with all-natural and organic Sonoma County produce, olive oil, meats and game. These premium quality gourmet ingredients include Rosie Organic Chicken, local suckling pig, CK Lamb, Bodega Bay Goat Cheese and seasonal local vegetables at their peak flavor and freshness.
These organic and refreshing drinks are seasonally available at the Yucatán Tamales Booth. Some of our favorites have combined strawberries from Love’s Farm with Dragonfly Floral’s rose petals, or Gayle Sullivan’s Dry Creek Peaches with Armenian cucumber, and Tierra Vegetables Watermelon with fresh mint and lime from White Crane Springs Ranch.
Made-to-order Huevos Rancheros and Market Eggs {based on the best seasonal produce that morning} are available at the Healdsburg Farmers’ Market and Santa Rosa Veterans Building Market on Saturdays and at the Sebastopol Farm Market on Sundays.

“(Mateo) uses local fruit and his agua fresca is never too sweet. Several weeks ago he paired the season’s first white peaches with cucumbers, a brilliant match...”
