Following a career of more than 17 years working at some of the Bay Area’s top restaurants, Chef Mateo Granados has created a unique style of cooking, synthesizing European cooking techniques and sensibilities with local and Latin American ingredients to create a rustic yet refined cuisine.

Mateo Granados Catering offers unique and customizable menus from casual to fine dining, with an emphasis on the gloriously fresh seasonal produce and artisan products of Sonoma County, exquisitely touched with the sumptuous flavors and ingredients of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Mateo’s succulent Yucatán Tamales are based on his grandmother’s recipe, which he since has refined to perfection. Fresh, all-natural and steamed in banana leaves, Yucatán Tamales can be found at the Healdsburg, Sebastopol and other Sonoma County Farmers Markets.
